In 2009 the EAM will include three coherent, market-oriented modules on the needs of the animation industry. The full EAM 2009 will run for 9 months with equal amounts of time devoted to the following key aspects:

Animation production (approx. 3 months):
Topics to include: pre-production, production management, scripts, storyboards, character design, animatics, sound, layout, animation, editing, post-production, sound mixing, software training
Team project (approx. 3 months):
The production of a short individual animated film as the participant’s final examination piece; a team project consisting of various specialisations (e.g. storyboard artist, animation, character designer, production manager, etc.)
Philosophy
The EAM supports ambitious talent in its skills and abilities for animated film production at a high international level. The participants are graduates of animation film schools or similar educational establishments, as well as young animation film makers with initial experience gained in the production of animated films. Our master students come from several European and non-European countries and work jointly on their own projects in international teams. They develop their own film material from the original idea to animation, colorization and sound-tracking in very close, intensive mentoring with national and international experts.
