On the 9th of february, The Animation Workshop is having an Open House. Visitors can stop by the premises, listen to presentations on our bachelorprogrammes, classical drawing courses and Visual Hf, show their portfolios, and/or just generally have a look around. Elsewhere, the curious can look by our stands and ask questions at the UUG fairs in Aarhus (the 18th and 19th of January) and Herning (February 1st and 2nd), and on the 14th of February, there will be another Open House event in Cinemateket, Copenhagen.

KUHINA/SWARMING by Joni Männistö was selected in official competition for the 24th edition of the Festival Premiers Plans in Anger.
It was also chosen for Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival in the programme called Mouche et autre bestioles/Flies and other Bugs.

Matatoro received the Grand Prix to the Student Film in the Bruz National Film Festival Congratulations to Raphaël Calamote, Mauro Carraro, and Jérémy Pasquet.
Folksongs & Ballads. Mathieu Verneri, Pauline Defachelles, Paul Remy, received the "Excellence Award" at the Japan Media Arts Festival.
The film Red, directed by Alexandre Charleux, Amaury Brunet, Victoria Bruneel and Ning Zhang is awarded 3rd place in the festival Panam Anim 2011. Chaired by Claude Lelouch.
The film L’ère bête, Laurent Meriaux, Ingrid Menet, Clement and Thomas Caudron Tissier was selected in official competition of European animated Plans for the 24th edition of the Festival Premiers Plans in Angers.

DADIU is happy to present the six new graduation games, where the students have pushed the boundaries.
Enter a surrealistic universe and guide the sleepwalker Bob back to bed. Back to Bed is a casual puzzle game set in an impossible universe inspired by Escher and Dali.
Blackwell takes its point of departure in the historical figure Nellie Bly – an American female journalist from the late 1800. In a scary Amnesia like universe, the player has to escape Blackwell’s Island’s Women’s Asylum.
Wake up Clone is a first-person jump puzzler set in a dystrophic universe, where man meets machine. Guided by a dark voice the only way is up towards the surface.

ETNA is coordinated by CARTOON, an international non-profit association created to support the European animation industry. Among its activities, CARTOON organises training seminars for animation professionals (Cartoon Masters) as well as co-production forums for TV series (Cartoon Forum) and feature films (Cartoon Movie).
