Animation Sans Frontières
The submission for Animation Sans Frontières 2010-2011 is open!

Created by 4 partner schools, Animation Sans Frontières is a lecture/workshop- programme designed to strengthen networks between the European animation industry and young European students. A group of 16 students travels 2 weeks to each 4 schools to have an overview of the entire animation film production process, from concept development through financing to actual production management.

New Award for A mouse s tale

Benjamin Renner already won many international prizes for his graduation film, including the 2008 Cartoon d'Or. A mouse's tale has been awarded the Best student film Prize at the seventh Tindirindis International Animated Film Festival in Lituania. Musician and sound designer, Christophe Héral, recently explained on Arte Channel in Court-Circuit TV programme how he worked on this film, using film excerpts to illustrate his work (in french).

The new online platform is operational since August 2009. Developed by Cartoon with the support of the MEDIA Programme, the website will showcase student’s works, schools’ news and events, ongoing common research programmes, etc… as regular updates. It will be managed by the animation schools. If you are an animation teacher or student, visit this living site regularly !
ETNA is coordinated by CARTOON, an international non-profit association created to support the European animation industry. Among its activities, CARTOON organises training seminars for animation professionals (Cartoon Masters) as well as co-production forums for TV series (Cartoon Forum) and feature films (Cartoon Movie).
