Programme information
9zeros meets the needs of the market by training new professionals who enjoy a dual creative and technological profile by offering a variety of courses, which are adapted to each student’s needs.
One of these courses is the Integral Course of Animation Techniques, a two-year programme offering over 1000 hours of coursework especially designed for those wishing to receive professional training. To this end, the course covers all aspects of animation production, including cartooning, Stop Motion animation, Flash animation, animation using 3dsMAX, cut-outs (animation using paper cut-outs), pixilation, experimental animation, etc.
We also provide the equally important training for all professionals, regardless of their preferred animation technique, including drawing, script writing, cine-matographic vernacular, story boarding, artistic direction, lighting, computer-based colouring, scenery construction, etc.
All of this is combined with the appropriate technological support for each subject.
The goal is for students to finish the programme having completed many different practical exercises and the production of an animated short film, because these are the only ways that students can demonstrate whether they have truly acquired the necessary skills.

Philosophy
9zeros is the school of choice in Spain for all those wishing to train professionally in the world of animation. As such, it specialises in a wide range of animation techniques, from the most traditional such as cartooning, Stop Motion animation (clay and latex), cut-out animation (paper cut-outs), pixilation of people and objects, to more contemporary techniques such as interactive animation, Flash animation, or 3D animation using Softimage, Maya or 3D Studio Max.
In addition, the centre teaches courses on editing and image composition using programmes such as Avid and Nuke.
Our training programmes have a common goal: to enable people who have chosen the world of animation to pursue their passion, to acquire the knowledge, techniques and skills to help them become the professionals they have always aspired to be. For us, our greatest achievement is enabling students to complete their studies through producing short films and numerous practical projects and in supporting their productions by providing both the professional tools available at the school and the advice of various media professionals.
